Wayne Conrad, Senior Operations Manager
An Aggie! Need we say more! Yes, Wayne is a true native central Texan. Raised between the Highland Lakes and College Station, Wayne has worn out more than a few trucks traversing between his home in Austin, the ranch, and his beloved Aggie land. Wayne earned his degree in Agronomy from A&M in 1982. His father was a professor in the Agronomy Department, so we suspect he rigged a few test scores for his son. (Smile)
Upon graduation, Wayne got sidetracked and moved to Palm Springs, California in search of gold. He found GRASS! And lots of it! Working on golf courses with his newly earned agronomy degree, Wayne quickly moved up the food chain and became Director of Golf Course Operations for Mission Hills Country Club with five premiere golf courses. Finally, his wife said enough of this California life! So they loaded up the truck and landed back in Austin, where Wayne directed the landscape maintenance division for the largest firm in Texas, Clean Cut, Inc. Ultimately bought by TruGreen, Wayne spent fourteen years directing their operations before moving on to spearhead the opening of Landscapes USA in Central Texas.
Rusty Brightman, Operations Manager
There is only one Rusty in this world and we're glad to have him on our team. Rusty was raised in Comanche Texas, and if it's outdoors, he's there! Whether it's making a landscape beautiful, killing a buck, snagging a fish, or BBQing for a crowd, it is all outdoors.
Armed with an Agriculture Degree from Southwest Texas State, Rusty has spent the vast majority of his career making landscapes beautiful. Before coming to Austin, Rusty spent eight years running an operation for a premiere landscape firm in Dallas. In 1994, Rusty seized an opportunity to grow with a firm in Austin. Since then, his attention to detail and outstanding client service has enabled him to become one of the premiere landscape managers in Austin, if not the country. His clients are intensely loyal and his client satisfaction is outstanding. Julio Ixtabalan, Operations Manager
Julio, from Guatemala with a smile! One of the most pleasant individuals you will ever meet. Julio came to the US in the late 1980's and started working for an upstart company, Clean Cut, Inc. Julio quickly proved his excellent management skills, and his ability to make landscapes look great. These two traits, along with his bilingual skills quickly propelled Julio to the position of Landscape Manager. Shortly thereafter, he was put in charge of training for 200 plus Austin employees. The last few years, Julio has both managed a group of properties and been in charge of training for our offices throughout Texas!
Julio's excellent employee relations along with extremely high client satisfaction make him a valuable asset to Landscapes USA and the Capital of Texas Team.

In 1984, Dennis founded Clean Cut, Inc. which grew to be the largest landscape maintenance company in the state of Texas and the fourth largest in the US.

Dennis leads the charge to constantly improve all aspects of the company so the local partners and operational managers can be "the best that they can be", which translates into our clients receiving stellar service.
